Dusty is the cornerstone of Fiddler’s Dream—our foundation bitch and a dog who truly embodies everything we love about the Anatolian Shepherd Dog. Calm, confident, and fiercely devoted, she brings both strength and grace to her role as a family and property guardian.

Bred by Karaboudjan Anatolians, an AKC Breeder of Merit known for producing sound, working Anatolians of exceptional type, Dusty is the daughter of two powerhouse dogs: MBIS BISS GCH Karaboudjan’s Bonfire of the Vanities “Ateş”, and Sire of Distinction CH Kandira’s Encore “Ernie.” With that pedigree, it’s no surprise that she earned her Grand Championship, standing out in the ring with her presence and correctness.

At home, Dusty is all business—watchful, serious, and entirely tuned into her environment. She’s deeply loyal and protective of her family, but not reactive; she thinks before she acts, and she reads situations with the kind of wisdom that can’t be taught. That said, Dusty knows when it’s time to be social. When we introduce someone new, she takes her cues from us and is composed and polite, just as a well-tempered Anatolian should be.
